Soul Garages has taken its community involvement a step further by partnering with Willen Hospice as its chosen charity for 2024. Throughout the year, the long-established Olney garage has committed to playing an active role in the hospice’s fundraising efforts.

From attending the recent charity fashion show, hosted by Olney’s top fashion retailers, to pedalling for palliative care at the annual Cycle Sportive in September. To kickstart the partnership, 10 MOT tests were also donated by Soul Garages to be used as prizes in the hospice’s fundraising events.

Now in its 50th year, Willen Hospice provides compassionate care to residents in the local community while offering support for the family and friends of patients. The charity relies on local support to fund their specialist services which cost £11.23 every minute.

The pledge from Soul Garages, which has been serving local drivers for over a century, underscores the importance of legacy businesses in fostering a culture of giving back to their community and supporting charities.

Along with other businesses who regularly commit their support, this is yet another example of how local businesses can be a powerful force for good, raising awareness and vital funds for causes close to home.
